The Apex is in an excellent location for those wanting to explore the Tower of London area. The staff were friendly & helpful, our room clean & surprisingly quiet. We didn’t have breakfast our first day as I’d been put off by previous reviews but did the second. I don’t know if they’ve changed the system but you’re able to pick one hot item off the menu, ranging from full English, to Eggs Benedict, to pancakes then there’s a help yourself stand to cold items including juice, cereal, pastries & the most amazing blueberry muffins. The food was excellent & there were more than enough staff on who were attentive & professional. You’re a 5 minute walk from the Tower of London, Katherine’s dock has plenty of bars & restaurants, Tower Bridge tour was interesting with great views & Borough market worth a visit. I chose this hotel as it was the right balance between location & budget for us & would definitely go back.

Loved how lovely the staff were especially Robert at the restaurant and the two very excellent staff members at the reception when we checked in. I can't the girls name but she had a slight northern and so very very lovely. She gave us a 12 o'clock check out when asked if that was available and was just so helpful, friendly, but not too friendly and very well presented with gorgeous nails. All in all, she and the other receptionist actually made us love the hotel right from the very start of our quite short, but very intense stay. Robert from the restaurant made sure that we had a well needed sandwich and bottle of wine waiting for us in the room, when we arrived back at 4am in the morning. We were really very happy!

Simone and Jose at the front desk were so helpful and kind. You could tell they had that rare quality you sometimes find-- enjoying being excellent. (Dragan who checked us out was great too.). Everyone in the hotel, the restaurant, housekeeping, was great. The room is simple and practical with an intelligent design. Lovely porch on the 7th Floor, nice shower, comfortable bed with welcoming sheets and duvet. Huge desk area for work, small reefer and a kettle. Great closet space and room for an opened suitcase on the floor under the TV's, so my wife could slide it out while mostly keeping it out of the way. We loved this place.

We liked all from this place, since the beginning and before we arrive, we receive welcoming messages about our stay, in reception people were very friendly, one of the receptionists speaked spanish which was a great touch because it make us feel very welcome. The room was big and had enough room for our bulky luggage, all was very clean and organized, the room had a nice smell too and wall were very thick, so we hear no noises from corridor or so. Our room had a very nice view of the Tower Bridge of London which was an extra. The location is great as you can walk to many places and tub station is also very close.
